Realsimulator presents the F16 VR Station, the hardware platform for F-16 pilot training in virtual reality.
The F16 VR Station is the Realsimulator response to the military’s demand for less expensive pilot training, but as we know, this cost reduction can easily lead to negative training; for this reason, we have equipped the F16 VR Station with high-fidelity replicas that are identically positioned to the real ones and have identical feel.
HOTAS controls are populated with military sensors and switches built in accordance to US MIL-PRF-8805E to guarantee operating forces, travels and mechanical life as the real grips.

Center console, rudder pedals or even side panels can be added to the F16 VR Station if you are looking for mixed reality training.
The F16 VR Station consist of a modular structure on which it is mounted an ACES II seat and the HOTAS controls. These real components are the point of reality that the pilot need so that, together with the virtually generated instrumentation, a realistic training environment is created.

Modular structure that facilitates its assembly / disassembly for shipments. It is manufactured entirely in steel and aluminium and its reduced footprint allows its use in any room. The structure has 4 swivel levelling wheels to facilitate its movement. The throttle structure has a large compartment with key access.
ACES IIejection seat fully manufactured in metal for a rugged construction. The seat includes the cushions, the Ejection control Safety Lever and the Firing Control Handle (“Pull to Eject” actuator), both operative mechanically and electrically. Under customer request, the seat can be supplied with the Emergency Oxygen assembly mock-up and the Parachute Container.
Side Stick Controller (SSC) composed by the F16SGRH PRO grip and the cockpit model force base to guarantee a long life of the force sensors even under the over-forces produced by the stress of the pilots in the missions.
Throttle Quadrant System (TQS) with the friction control and the throttle guide rail. The throttle grip is manufactured with high density resin and is populated with military sensors and switches built in accordance to US MIL-PRF-8805E to guarantee operating forces, travels and mechanical life as the real grip. The unit includes the Chaff/Flare slap switch.
Plug and play device with no drivers. It just needs an electrical connection, a USB wire to receive the power and comms.
